Pot Sticker Soup

Diana found this recipe.... Yummy.

Note from Diana: "I just kept adding a little and tasting until it seemed good. So I don't have any measurements."

Ingredients

Ingredients
1 T sesame oil
1

onion, chopped

2 cloves minced garlic
2 (32 oz) cartons chicken broth
2 green onions, chopped
1 T sesame oil
  salt
  pepper
1 (15 oz) package frozen potr stickers (any filling)
1 (12 oz) package frozen stir-fry veggies
  white pepper (Diana added)
  Hot sesame oil (Diana added)
  napa cabbage (diana added)
  tofu (Diana added)
  carrots (Diana substituted frozen stir fry veggies)
  ginger
  soy sauce
  green onion (topping)
  cilantro (topping)
  basil (topping)

 

Preparation

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in large pot over medium heat. Stir in the chopped onion and garlic;
  2. Cook and Stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent. (5 minutes)
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, green onions, and remaining sesame oil.
  4. Bring to a boil over high heat
  5. Add season to taste with salt & pepper
  6. Reduce the heat to medium and add the frozen pot stickers and stir fry veggies.
  7. Cook until the pot stickers float, ~8 minutes
  8. Top with the green onions, cilantro & basil when serving

PS: Don't add the pot stickers until almost ready to eat to avoid them getting soggy.
